Melanie Williford is the person behind Snowdrop Floral Design.
Born in Colorado, she moved to Richmond in 2019 and hasn't stopped paying attention to what's growing here since. That attention became her work.
The Approach
Melanie forages much of her own material, partners with local growers, and sources her vessels from antique shops and estate sales.
Every arrangement is designed around a specific space - the scale, the light, the person it's for. No two are the same. That's the point.
